Debbie Pannowitz Grad Dip Hlth Sci (Nutr Med), RSKP, MSc, MBA

For most of my career I specialized in Kinesiology and Nutrition Medicine. I am accredited for both these modalities with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society and have a Master of Science and Graduate Diploma in Health Science in Nutrition Medicine. In the last 10 to 15 years my focus has shifted to kinesiology and mindful eating. 


I am an author and public speaker having done various conference and corporate presentations nationally and 

internationally.


I have an extensive career in scientific research, the food and health industries and am particularly interested in clarity in healthcare communication. I have a number of publications to my name, lectured and tutored at several of the major natural therapy colleges throughout Australia, and I write occasionally for journals and community newspapers.



Qualification Details

Registered Specialized Kinesiology Practitioner (registered with Australian Traditional Medicine Society)  

Graduate Diploma of Health Sciences (Nutrition Medicine), Diploma of Nutrition (registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society)  

And from life before kinesiology: Bachelor of Science, Master of Science (biotechnology), Masters of Business Administration. In fact it was a lot of the adventures and misadventures before I found kinesiology that led me on this path with complementary therapies.

Personally

Today I practice online from my home based clinic in Newtown.   

When not in clinic my prefferred habitat is a vege patch!

Areas of Specialty

Overview

I help people who are struggling with change in their life and equally people struggling with feeling stuck in a particular circumstance. I also help people who experience emotional eating.

Transformational Kinesiology

For when change needs to be made more comfortable, for when old habits are getting in the way of living your life or for help with understanding and releasing the blocks to your goals.

Mindful Eating

For when you notice that you eat quickly and that you rarely savour what you are eating, for when a whole meal can be consumed and you can't remember it, for when you experience guilt about your food choices, or feel eating healthily is just too hard for you.
